Well it looks the same.... But roof is done 95% needs a wipe down and see if I missed anything. Its a little hard to tell when its dusty. Almost done with the whole pass side now.

Trying to paint the jambs this weekend. Just going to use the leftover epoxy o have. Gray will be better than olive I think.

But my God the jambs are filthy!

That's always the hardest part about any project.... keeping E36 M3 clean haha. With as much work as I've done with my car, I always look like I got into a fight with copier toner

Did I mention that I used a couple of leaf blowers to get the dust out of the shop so I could paint?

I use a leaf blower too, an electric one. I'm not sure I'd use a 2 stroke as the oil in the exhaust could cause fisheyes if any residue gets missed.

Dude I can imagine. That truck is a monster compared to my tiny ass Mazda 3 haha. I haven't had to do any paint work to it yet, thank the car gods, but I have had to do some stuff under the hood and underneath. Like the one time I accidentally doused myself with oil.... That was fun....... NOT!

I upgraded to a battery one. It's amazing.

Wife helped me blow it out last week. I have an air mover that helps clear the air out of the garage too.

I'm ALMOST done with the "big" sanding. Then just endless detail stuff. But that doesn't make a ton of dust (we have garage cats coming next week....) wife thinks I should just rent a booth to paint. So I might....

I should add, I'm just using some of the leftover epoxy primer on the jambs.

You say that it looks the same, but not really. For me this is the point where it comes together and gels. With all the flatwork done on the main body, the nooks and crannies seemed to tie the whole effort together. Truth is this is where I see the most change not the least. But yeah...sanding is sanding and kinda does suck if you look forwards; kinda have to look back where you have been to appreciate the results of all the time put in.

Yeah looking back helps! It's moving forward and that's good.

I think a boot would be nice, but getting it there is a challenge. I don't own A trailer....

I should have done this with the car. Holy hell, so much masking! Masking the weather strip sucks, but it's so brittle and the clips are rusty, and it's NLA.
