$ 2k challenge car. Ran it last year. I bought it from PO as a roller. He had ran it at the Challenge several times before as a turbo car. Trying to get it ready for this years Challenge the 2nd weekend in April.

Ok so the flip house we bought in December is finally done and currently listed by our realtor. A here are some before and after pictures.
In reply to cruisermatt :Yes I agree! House is currently under contract with closing scheduled for the end of this month. And we got power restored from Helene yesterday afternoon. Amazing how much brighter the shop is with functional lighting. Currently on the way to Birmingham for the Barber Vintage Motorcycle Festival. Work on the car should resume next week.
Started making polycarbonate windows for the rear doors yesterday. I finished the right one last night. I took some pictures today as I made the left side.
awesome. I always wanted to do that but the material was at a all time high when we first built/destroyed this car.
The window regulator with motor was about 4.5 lbs. The window with the aluminum track attached was right at 4 lbs. so I saved roughly 7 lbs per side. Swapped the drag radials to Patrick for 2 approximately 24" x 60" x 1/8" sheets and a set of four 18x8 wheels. Also working on removing more of the sound deadening material from the interior.
Got some time yesterday to work on the challenge car. My younger son and I had set the day aside for a JY trip but the inventory did not look interesting so he asked if I wanted to work on the car. Sure!!! Added a diagonal brace to the main hoop on the preexisting roll cage.
