In addition to the Fairmont we plan to bring another entry. An old friend that many of you might recognize. You can view the original build here: https://www.paccracing.com/fiataspurchased

It has been sitting for close to 10 years waiting for it's turn. With the success we had with the Fairmont, it only seemed natural to duplicate the powerplant into something that is lighter, and safer, so that we can go faster.

We recently wrapped up the turbo manifold. Came out pretty nice if you ask me.

Calvin, what is the mileage on these " Atlas's" that you and Dad are scoring for this madness? My experience is my 2004 Bravada AWD ...third motor. which came from LQK with approx 56k on the odo......the best one yet.

It varies. The engine in my Stude only had 60k miles The one in the Fairmont had 175k. The one we plan. To put in the Fiat will have like 150k if I recall correctly. We like to say that the rings are "pre-gapped" on the higher mileage engines. Lol

They're physically incapable of not-awesome.  I saw Calvin try to unfold and set down a totally normal chair under the pavilion at the challenge and the berkeleying thing flew out of his hand, did a burnout, took off down the dragstrip and then came to rest at the table with a 9 second timeslip on it.

I have. I think that is a 2002 engine thing. Could be wrong. Never been an issue for us.
