It's been awhile since I've had a fun car in my garage and I just so happen to have some cash burning a hole in my pocket.  I'm looking for something nice to get out and drive every so often in nice weather.  I would like to be able to take my wife and 6 year old son too(High-back booster seat).  I am very open to different cars.  I would prefer anywhere from 1980s-Mid 2000's.  It would have to have a clean title, no rust and I don't want a project.  Here are some examples:

2002-2011 Civic Si's, Prelude, IS300, LT1/LS1 Camaro/Trans Am, Mustang, Supra, Tsx, Rsx, E36/E46, GTI and other's I'm sure I forgot.

I would prefer a manual but would consider an auto.  I'm used to Japanese reliability and not sure about German cars but would consider them.  I want to drive not tinker too much.  I've been leaning towards a T-top muscle car.  Anyway, if you have something you want to exchange for some lettuce let me know.   I'm in no hurry as it's still winter, but Spring is around the corner. Thanks!

P.S. - I usually don't travel too far when buying so keep that in mind.  BUDGET = under $15k

What sort of budget are you looking at? I have, along the lines of the Civic Si, a Focus SVT with a bunch of new stuff on it.

This might be fun and below budget so you can finish it up right.

This sounds like your Huckleberry.

Asking for a friend. Any pictures?

I'm considering selling my MINI but it's a little out of your budget. I'd recommend looking into them as well.

First Gen ones can be had very cheap but I've heard anecdotal evidence of weak manual transmissions and superchargers needing rebuilds.

Second Gen got more polished, just a little bigger, a turbo, and a stronger 6 speed Getrag transmission.

Tell your friend it's a little higher mileage, but I take decent care of it. Comes with a cheapy cat that I don't think it needs yet, and I plan on doing the timing belt and water pump soon. Clutch is a year old. AC and heat both work. Only reason I put the eBay header on was because the factory manifold cracked, and it was the cheapest replacement at the time.

Edit: thought the cluster pic was better than it is. 242k miles.

Supercharged Mini Cooper? Plenty of space for kiddos in the back; my 4 and 6 year olds love riding in it, but alas, adding a 3rd kid to the mix is stretching it a bit too much...

I actually bought it in your area 2 summers ago.

Do they still exist? They were never a common sight around here.

I have a mint 94 MR2 T top and a 2001 GSR sedan (high miles, but mint) I am going to let both go.

both cars dealer serviced since day 1. Every record. So cal cars. 0 issues . No rust. I don't own projects.

got down from 11 to 7 cars. Added 3. Want to go back to 7 again

Other is RCF but it doesn't meet your criteria

Now I'm tempted by your Integra.

Pretty sure I only have room in my life for one 4 door Vtec Honda (have an 8th gen Civic Si).

Hehe smiley

8th Gen Si, I am sure is nice. I don't like the design, personally.  My TSX Wagon is nice, but not as fun to drive as manual trans Integra 4 door GSR :) . I also like the rarity of such a clean mint one, unmolested, every dealer service for last 20 years.

Too few seats for full family fun but I do have a 2003 Z4 sitting around waiting to be scooped up. I'm across the state line in MI.

I wonder about a rumble seat for it...
