Looks cool but is their some mysterious dark magic specific to the hexagon that makes these price out 10-20x the parts cost?
I assume it's the framework. The hex center pieces. Allegedly they are aluminum.

How does the bug screen work for shielding direct sun? We recently lost two trees out front. As a result, I get harsh afternoon sun on the garage door, meaning it can get toasty in there.
