The Sightings Thread

is this a sighting? Or maybe they are just rare around my locale. 

Not pictured.  Daewoo Legonza.  Lagonza?  The mid size sedan.

I thought it was an old Sonata (itself sighting-worthy) and then noticed the Daewoo badge.

I parked next to this Mustang at last weekend's HSR event at Daytona. 

Have a roofing company putting new roof on my house. One of the guys sees my old cars and tells me he recently won an old Chevelle in a policeman's raffle of some sort. I called him yesterday to discuss some work I'm doing in conjunction with work they're doing to make sure we're all on the same page. Says he's going to be in my area today and will stop by to discuss. Shows up in the car he won.

In total, this dealership has 9 roadsters and 5 coupes...that's a lot of Crossfires at one dealership in Findlay!

He owned the Chrysler dealership during the mercedes years and was the trained tech in our area. If I was in the market I'd buy one from him. He also has a very spicy SRT4

This has just recently showed up at the Country Club next to my house.   It's often the only car in the parking lot so my guess is kitchen manager, head chef. Wearing temp tags. Strangely clean for an old Toyota in the rust belt. The tailgate says 4wd.

At first I thought it was a T-100 but has Tundra badge.  With that grille it must be '00-'02

Not yet a unicorn; but one of those cars I wonder if anyone buys used, or just gets passed down through family/friends

Ok, not my picture. Why? Because I didn't own a camera around 54 years ago in 1968 or thereabouts when I was like 12 years old riding my Schwinn Sting Ray bike and saw the Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe #26 parked at the local Simonson gas station when the station's owner licensed it and drove around North Dakota to pick up the weekly sales receipts. I wasn't allowed to cross Broadway on my bike, but I did anyway and gawked at that thing for over an hour. My 1800 looks kind of like it if you squint just right. 

Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe CSX2601

"The Daytona Cobra Coupe was also licensed for the road, however–at one point the CSX2601 car was owned by a North Dakota businessman who, perhaps appropriately, owned a string of gas stations. He used the car to drive the daily 300-mile trip to collect receipts."

This was parked next to me during the pandemic when the audience was parked and the cars drove up and down Broadway in a traveling car show; 455 badged 1969 Pontiac Firebird. And then below that; really, the best place to see cars is at the local Menards home construction store.

One last post on my dads account before I get my own. 

Saw this while dad was becoming a member of a rifle range. Thought it looked neag. Dad thinks its an international cab over. Please correct him if he's wrong.

Definitely an International per the grille.

More interesting, I see vintage 2 door Neon interior complete with the quirky-fun interior fabric.
