Ohhh we could do an M5 race series progressing through all the various iterations of the car. I have an E60 at the moment.

The main event is Wednesday and some people hop on for practice on Monday/Tuesday night.

Side note I'm genuinely curious what latency would be like. Thats a long round trip for those packets.

Ahhh. Ok. Powers of observation on my part were lacking. LOL.
Only one way to find out. Come join in.
So everyone that was around last week what do you all think of the proposed Corolla wagon?
I also put up a Saab wagon in the testing folder. It is a car that I actually currently own. It is faster than the Corolla but also much more of a street car. Other than the sound of the motor it is a good simulation of the car.
+1 for the Corolla. Slow but a lot of fun, and its lack of braking power should make things interesting.
Haven't tried the Saab yet.
So next season do we:
A. Stick with the Toyota wagon.
B. See about a M3 modeled after Sauce's M3
C. Try to put a mustang together like Race Brick has
D. Try to model a car after the GRM BMW that came in 3rd. Behind Sauce?

I don't mind the Corolla wagon. I have some more small tracks we could do with those. Haven't tried the others yet.
Since you have a car that isn't a high-powered 'Bahnburner maybe we could revisit the "IRL cars series" idea with the Saab
The Saab is a very accurate replication of my Saab 93 wagon. It is noticeably faster than the Toyota it is also set up like the FWD street car it is. We can give it a go if people want to. It could make for some interesting racing.
I think we should at least look at replicating the GRM BMW. Maybe get a GRM person to help us with replicating its performance.

That would be fun, but I don't know how easy it would be for them to test iterative changes in our timeframe.
It looks like we are set on the Carolla Wagon. Since it's a pretty good canvas, and we have a few weeks, I can throw together some liveries. If you have any requests or suggestions let me know. I can easily use old one also (e.g. Molar Express).
A good default might be some 90's speed parts liveries. So if you have any links to logo artwork for those, post them up. Example posted below.
If you want to take a shot at it yourself (and you have the tools), I put the shading file that can be used as a template in the Season 17 cars folder. In photoshop that layer is set above any color or artwork layers with a Multiply affect. If you can't do that, just use it as a template and create a background transparent file (e.g. png file) with the artwork separate png with the coloring (e.g. if you want the hood a different color) and I can combine them with the shading.
One important note: There is one person that does NOT have a choice of liveries, and that is Dean. Dean's livery is shown below, and I am taking requests for additional artwork on the car. Dean has no say in this, so don't worry about his approval:
Any iteration of the molar express livery works for me. If you can add this logo in there somewhere that would be even better!
Not sure why the image came out so huge but I can't change the sizing.
How about this? The mirrors are red because I was trying to figure out what a part of the map was, but I think it works to represent the blood shooting from the gums (!)

I am seeing a black car with that on the hood. The whole hood!!!
So for Wednesday. I want to test out a HC system. We will be running the 911s at least to start and I want to run at least three 2 lap races and add the HC in between races and see how it plays out. The more people that show up the better for testing purposes. After that we can run the Corolla and test the HC on it to get a idea as to how much weight we should be adding to these cars.
