5 Reasons to attend the Chattanooga Motorcar Festival this weekend

What can $20 get you these days? Admission to a three-day automotive festival in downtown Chattanooga, that’s what. The Chattanooga Motorcar Festival offers a ton of activities for that $20, too, on October 11-13. Here are five things to look forward to.

1. The J. Willard Marriott Ferrari Club is an invite-only display of the Italian marque. Among those select cars include a 1952 375 Indianapolis, built for the Indy 500; a 1965 275 GTB, a rare six-carburetor-engine, aluminum-body, long-nose version; and a 1971 246 GT formerly owned by Miss Hurst, Linda Vaughn.

2. If Porsches are more your thing, there’s Luftgekühlt, a curated display of the finest from Stuttgart.

3. Concours d’Lemons will be there on Saturday. If you’re looking for the best of the worst and the worst of the best, this is your cup of lemonade. This guilty pleasure is always good for some fun.

4. Broad Arrow Auctions has several enticing lots of rare and incredible cars. You can find 10 to watch here.

5. The Concours d’Elegance, of course! More than 100 of the finest vehicles all in one place. They range form a 1912 Simplex Touring to a 1965 Ferrari 275 GTB to a 1981 DMC DeLorean to a 2007 Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder.

You can find the full event schedule here.
