Two-time Le Mans winner Hans-Joachim Stuck drove this 1991 Audi V8 quattro to victory three times in DTM competition. Hubert Haupt, a 24 Hours of Daytona class winner, also steered the Audi, too.

Audi owned the race car until they sold it to Haupt in 2014, who, in turn, has retained it ever since.

Restored by marque specialist Imgrund Motorsport, the V8 quattro is accompanied by FIA HTP papers and an “extensive spares package, including its original race engine and two spare sets of wheels.”

Find this 1991 Audi V8 quattro DTM up for auction at RM Sotheby’s, with an estimated value of €750,000-€1,000,000 (approximately $800,000-$1,100,000 USD).

I love that the car still retains a bit of the OEM wood trim on the dash.

In my opinion, some of the rad era vehicles that hit the rad button the hardest are the race cars.
