Very late C3 Corvettes have largely been ignored by the collector world and, true, these cars lack the fire found in other Vettes. For 1982, the only drivetrain offered was the 200-horsepower Cross-Fire V8 backed by an automatic box.
Nevertheless, Hagerty shows a recent uptick in prices, with a mint 1982 Corvette like this one now worth north of $32,000. This black on tan, 10,940-mile example will cross the Mecum’s block this weekend in Dallas.
