my avatar on a few sites....I did a narrow band A/F gauge at one time too. I think I worked on a old foxbody tach that went to like 7K then the check engine light came on....

The first one is VERY trippy but VERY cool and ^ that is sweet

Actually going through that site, I couldn't believe some of those were only 256 colours. But I checked the source, they were all .gifs... Impressive work on the palette selection.
