Well said. Fear of work on any car keeps most of the old fashioned dullards away from Vintage cars.
If you could own "Vintage" cars as easily as you can own newer cars I suspect it would ruin the hobby.
In a very real sense those cars pick their owners as much as their owners pick them.
That old car rusting away in the barn isn't going to be taken away by a lazy dullard but rather someone Who gets excited enough to ignore the work and costs entailed.
