Japanese tribute to hidden, pop up, and headlights that otherwise have a mechanism that moves when they are turned on:
The Opel GT bothers me, they rotate the same direction. That's asymmetrical!
.. Apparently this is kind of a "thing" in Japan. Now I'm getting a whole lot of videos recommended to me of people flipping their headlights up to a Eurobeat soundtrack.

Every time I see this video posted as a gif on reddit I have to go dig up the full video
This kills me. I hadn't watched it in a while. Ben Spies on learning new tracks.
Maybe buy that Italian sports car when you're young?
"I said I wanted Sally Field, and they said, 'Sally Field isn't sexy', and I said... Really?"
"I've gotten to the point in my life where I've accepted that I will be remembered for two things: writing the "Love Boat" theme, and playing Little Enos in Smokey and The Bandit"
Has anyone else who's seen A Scanner Darkly getting a similar vibe?
Not sure if worthy of its own thread.
In reply to Pete. (l33t FS) :
I must no longer be in the target audience for Matrix movies. I watched that trailer and had no interest whatsoever in going to see it.

Imagine Big Wheel Racing down Pikes Peak...

How is this not a thing in the home of the Big Wheel? I'm old, fat, aerodynamically pear-shaped with an under developed sense of self preservation. I feel very qualified to dominate this racing series.
Anyone else watching this?
Not wholely awful. I find it fun. Not as good as the anime, but worth watching.

If you do something with enough confidence, you can trick the Universe into allowing it to work. (My mom once grabbed a key and unlocked the house's front door, then realized she was holding her car key)
What is funnier is that this was all unscripted and unpracticed. The smooth way he just reaches over and pickpockets the other guy's magazine, casuially says "You're welcome" and ejects the chambered round after he fires off a few from a SIG magazine in his Glock...
Never too old for Hot Wheels .....

I might make a thread if someone else doesn't.
Second trailer is out. There was a lot of commentary on the first trailer, about all of the many (many) callbacks to the first movie. Not sure if they were listening when they edited this trailer, or if the edited was planned from the first.
"I'm not sure if I'm seeing a reboot or a sequel."
"It's called a deja vu. It happens when they change something"
Love the Trunk Monkey, some of these I haven't seen before.
We need to get some friends together.
My first video!
Could have been done a lot better - and in the future I may try to do some more with audio in some fashion, but for now I'll call it a learning experience.
